Have you Considered a Career as an Electrician?

Do you like working with your hands? Are you good at solving problems, and paying attention to details? Are you looking for a stable career that you can start relatively soon? Becoming an Electrician might be right for you! At NCE, we train people just like you for successful careers in the Electrical industry.

In today’s world, everything we do is somehow affected by electricity. In these modern times, our dependency on wires and circuits is only growing. As a result, there is an ever-increasing need for more skilled, qualified, and experienced electricians. Electricians are in high demand!

Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in homes, businesses, and factories. With steady, continuing growth in the construction industry, the need to maintain older equipment in manufacturing plants, and constant demand for repair and service in homes and businesses of all sizes, jobs for Electricians are on the rise. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, there will be as many as 60,000 new positions for Electricians in the United States opening in the next ten years. With a projected 9% rate of growth from 2016-2026, the Electrical industry is growing healthily.

Electricians are paid well too! According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS), the average annual pay for an Electrician was $54,110 in 2017. While earnings for entry-level positions may vary, a California Electrical Trainee (ET) certification, achievable through NCE’s program, can propel beginning Electricians well on their way to success in a career with lots of room for advancement. With continued on-the-job learning, motivated, dedicated Electrical Technicians will find a reliable, profitable career path.
